C4000 Big Bale Chopper

 

The Newhouse C4000 Big Bale Chopper is a stationary version of the C5000 chopper. It has all of the same capabilities and reliability but without the mobility. The C4000 model is typically driven with a 75 horsepower electric motor mounted under the frame, although a PTO drive is available as a main supply of or for backup in case of power outages.

The C4000 Big Bale Chopper can profitably feed up to 16 tons of (large) ton, mid-sized or small hay bales per hour. The high quality feed can be blended with straw or grass to provide more economical feeding.

Because of its stationary configuration, this chopper is highly adaptable for unique feeding situations and other applications. Modified discharge elevators and bale drag platforms can be installed, and they can be fully enclosed for weather or environmental considerations. For example, two Newhouse C4000 choppers are in use processing rice straw for the manufacture of press board.
