Farm Dollies

Newhouse dollies combine sturdy construction with functionality to produce a rugged and useful addition to your farming operations. They are readily adaptable to many forage harvesters -- including some self propelled models. They are always in line when backing under the trailers. The hydraulic 5th wheel lifts the front of the trailer so the landing gear clears the ground.

11 x 16 10Ply tires mounted on heavy 8 hole wheels carry the load. Three inch solid round caster shafts ride in three inch Timken bearings - top and bottom. Rugged strength is built in with the, heavy tubular steel, frame and tongue.

This is a TYPICAL HOOKUP for getting the hay from the windrow into the cooker tub. This hookup offers excellent operator view and maneuverability. When the tub is full, the operator drops the tub by hydraulically lowering the 5th wheel - unhooks and moves to an empty tub. A truck takes the full tub to the still.
